Out of scope









I find it very useful to explicitly call out what is 'out of scope', i.e. what are the features/functions/requirements on the periphery of the main scope items which someone may be assuming are in scope for the project. By clearly defining the 'out of scope' items, you can draw a fairly clear boundary between in/out of scope.
